We carry out our own research, as well as collaborate with existing projects, to fill scientific needs, reducing time and resource burdens. This research will help groups of all kinds make better decisions on the design and implementation of MPAs and other conservation efforts, as well as strengthen the case for changes in policy.

We are acutely aware of parachute science and will not take part in it. Instead, we want to facilitate opportunities and lend a hand to domestic efforts; capacity building to bring about lasting change that is ultimately driven and managed for the benefit of local people.
